Bozeman has an American Wine Society Chapter
American Wine Society
I just got some exciting news from Wine Club member, Larry Johnson, on a proposed Bozeman chapter of the American Wine Society (AWS). This group was organized in 1967 as a non-profit, educational, consumer-oriented organization for those interested in learning more about all aspects of wine. Today, the Society has over 5,000 members in 45 states and 120 chapters across the U.S.
The first Montana chapter of the AWS will start Bozeman in June with plans to meet at least monthly for wine tastings, other socials and educational events, and networking. The new Bozeman chapter is being organized by Larry Johnson, a long time Wine Gallery customer and wine enthusiast. Larry is looking for an additional four people who would like help as co-organizers of the Bozeman chapter. Co-organizers should,
- Be experienced wine lovers and tasters
- Be interested in becoming members the AWS and the new Bozeman chapter
- Be willing to help with the first organizational meeting in June
- Be willing to organize and host one of the monthly meetings following the Bozeman chapter's first meeting
You can find out more about the American Wine Society on the society's website www.americanwinesociety.org
If you are interested in working with Larry as a co-organizer of the new Bozeman chapter please contact him before March 17th at firstname.lastname@example.org and include a little information about yourself and your interest in the AWS Bozeman chapter.
